Buzz Aldrin is an American former astronaut, aeronautical engineer, and fighter pilot. He was the second person to walk on the Moon after mission commander Neil Armstrong. He made three spacewalks as pilot of NASA’s 1966 Gemini 12 mission, and was the Lunar Module Eagle pilot on the 1969 Apollo 11 mission. The essence · Sun

Sun in Capricorn

29°43′

Your centre is mastery: patient ambition, responsibility, maturity and work that supports others. You flourish by taking on your goals with discipline, patience and the determination to build something lasting.

The inner world · Moon

Moon in Libra

15°32′

Your emotional peace depends on harmony around you: conflict weighs on you, beauty repairs you. You project your emotional stability onto your bonds, always seeking mutual understanding and empathy.

The threshold · Ascendant

Birth time not documented

The Ascendant changes sign every two hours, and no verified birth time is recorded for Buzz Aldrin, so this chart doesn't set it. Their planets by sign, however, remain reliable.

Section II · The map

Their natal wheel

The sky on the day they were born. The outer ring is the twelve signs; the lines across the centre, the aspects between planets. Without a birth time, houses and the Ascendant aren't drawn.

Buzz Aldrin's placements

We compute the placements for the day of birth. Without the exact time the Ascendant and houses can't be fixed, but each planet's sign is reliable.

Beyond the planets

Three keys beyond the ten classical planets, which astrology reads as axes of the chart. All four angles need your birth time.

Chiron9°36 Taurus

The wounded healer: a small icy body between Saturn and Uranus. It marks the wound that, once moved through, teaches.

North Node8°18 Taurus

Not a body but a point of the Moon's orbit. It marks the direction of your growth.

Lilith27°13 Capricorn

The Black Moon: a mathematical point tied to the untamed and what refuses to submit.

Buzz Aldrin's aspects

Each aspect is an angle between two planets; it defines how they speak to each other. Aspects to the Moon are approximate: they depend on the exact birth time.
