Charles V's Birth Chart
Sun in Pisces · Moon in Capricorn
Charles V was Holy Roman Emperor and Archduke of Austria from 1519 to 1556, King of Castile and León from 1516 to 1556, King of Sicily and Naples from 1516 to 1554, and also Lord of the Netherlands and titular Duke of Burgundy from 1506 to 1555. He was heir to and then head of the rising House of Habsburg. His dominions in Europe included the Holy Roman Empire, extending from Germany to northern Italy with rule over the Austrian hereditary lands and Burgundian Low Countries, and Spain with its possessions of the southern Italian kingdoms of Sicily, Naples, and Sardinia. In the Americas, he oversaw the continuation of Spanish colonisation and a short-lived German colonisation. The personal union of the European and American territories he ruled was the first collection of realms labelled "the empire on which the sun never sets". Wikipedia
Sun in Pisces
14°28′Your core is compassion and sensitivity: dissolving boundaries, imagining, feeling the world as a single fabric. At your centre live resonance, empathy and a connection with the invisible. Your purpose is to dissolve rigid boundaries so as to bring compassion, art and spirituality into your life.
Moon in Capricorn
11°53′Your emotions are sober and deep: it's hard for you to ask, but you hold like a mountain. Your emotional world seeks refuge in restraint, work, pragmatism and self-control. You show affection by supporting and protecting your own, and you find peace when you feel you hold the reins of your life.
Birth time not documented
The Ascendant changes sign every two hours, and no verified birth time is recorded for Charles V, so this chart doesn't set it. Their planets by sign, however, remain reliable.
Section II · The map
Their natal wheel
The sky on the day they were born. The outer ring is the twelve signs; the lines across the centre, the aspects between planets. Without a birth time, houses and the Ascendant aren't drawn.
Section III · The detail
Planets and aspects
The exact numbers behind the drawing. Each table expands one layer of the wheel.
Charles V's placements
We compute the placements for the day of birth. Without the exact time the Ascendant and houses can't be fixed, but each planet's sign is reliable.

Beyond the planets
Three keys beyond the ten classical planets, which astrology reads as axes of the chart. All four angles need your birth time.
Not a body but a point of the Moon's orbit. It marks the direction of your growth.
The Black Moon: a mathematical point tied to the untamed and what refuses to submit.
Charles V's aspects
Each aspect is an angle between two planets; it defines how they speak to each other. Aspects to the Moon are approximate: they depend on the exact birth time.
Elements and modalities
How their energy is split across the four elements and the three modalities.
Section IV · The signature
The signature of their sky
The whole at a glance: how the planets are spread, and the accents that set the overall tone of the chart.
Bowl
Your planets fill half the chart: one half full, one empty, like something you seek to complete.
Their energy concentrates in the element of Water and the Fixed modality.
Moon is the most connected planet in their chart: 9 aspects tie it to the rest.
Three or more planets together in Pisces: a strongly marked focus of energy in that area.
An opposition with a third planet square to both: the chart's engine of tension and achievement.
