Daniel Defoe was an English writer, journalist, merchant and spy. He is famous for his novels Robinson Crusoe (1719), Moll Flanders (1722) and Roxana: The Fortunate Mistress (1724). He has been seen as one of the earliest proponents of the English novel, and helped to popularise the form in Britain with others such as Aphra Behn and Samuel Richardson. Wikipedia

Section I · The core

The two luminaries

Two lights set the tone of the whole chart: the Sun, the identity; the Moon, the emotional world.

Daniel Defoe's Sun, in Aries

Your identity ignites when you begin and open the way: you need causes, challenges and the freedom to go first in order to discover who you are through action.

Daniel Defoe's Moon, in Capricorn

Your emotions are sober and deep: it's hard for you to ask, but you hold like a mountain. Your emotional world seeks refuge in restraint, work, pragmatism and self-control. You show affection by supporting and protecting your own, and you find peace when you feel you hold the reins of your life.

Section II · The map

Their natal wheel

The sky on the day they were born. The outer ring is the twelve signs; the lines across the centre, the aspects between planets. Without a birth time, houses and the Ascendant aren't drawn.
