Edwin Hubble's Birth Chart

Sun in Scorpio · Moon in Libra

More skies with Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Libra

Edwin Powell Hubble was an American astronomer. He played a crucial role in establishing the fields of extragalactic astronomy and observational cosmology. Hubble proved that many objects previously thought to be clouds of dust and gas and classified as "nebulae" were actually galaxies beyond the Milky Way. He used the strong direct relationship between a classical Cepheid variable's luminosity and pulsation period for scaling galactic and extragalactic distances. Wikipedia

The essence · Sun

Sun in Scorpio

28°24′

Your core is intensity: living fully, transforming yourself and looking where others turn away. Your essence grows stronger in depth, transformation and naked truth. You need to cross the shadows, let go of what is obsolete and be reborn with greater inner solidity.

The inner world · Moon

Moon in Libra

23°55′

Your emotional peace depends on harmony around you: conflict weighs on you, beauty repairs you. You project your emotional stability onto your bonds, always seeking mutual understanding and empathy.

The threshold · Ascendant

Birth time not documented

The Ascendant changes sign every two hours, and no verified birth time is recorded for Edwin Hubble, so this chart doesn't set it. Their planets by sign, however, remain reliable.

Section II · The map

Their natal wheel

The sky on the day they were born. The outer ring is the twelve signs; the lines across the centre, the aspects between planets. Without a birth time, houses and the Ascendant aren't drawn.

The exact numbers behind the drawing. Each table expands one layer of the wheel.

Edwin Hubble's placements

We compute the placements for the day of birth. Without the exact time the Ascendant and houses can't be fixed, but each planet's sign is reliable.

Beyond the planets

Three keys beyond the ten classical planets, which astrology reads as axes of the chart. All four angles need your birth time.

Chiron22°01 Cancer

The wounded healer: a small icy body between Saturn and Uranus. It marks the wound that, once moved through, teaches.

North Node3°30 Cancer

Not a body but a point of the Moon's orbit. It marks the direction of your growth.

Lilith12°55 Cancer

The Black Moon: a mathematical point tied to the untamed and what refuses to submit.

Edwin Hubble's aspects

Each aspect is an angle between two planets; it defines how they speak to each other. Aspects to the Moon are approximate: they depend on the exact birth time.

Section IV · The signature

The signature of their sky

The whole at a glance: how the planets are spread, and the accents that set the overall tone of the chart.

Chart shape

Seesaw

Your planets gather in two opposite groups: you live in the push and pull between them.

Dominants

Their energy concentrates in the element of Air and the Cardinal modality.

Traits

Pluto is the most connected planet in their chart: 7 aspects tie it to the rest.
