John Maynard Keynes's Birth Chart
Sun in Gemini · Moon in Gemini
John Maynard Keynes, 1st Baron Keynes, was an English economist whose writings are considered the basis for the school of thought known as Keynesian economics, as well as its various offshoots. Originally trained in mathematics, he built on and refined earlier work on the causes of business cycles. His ideas, further developed after his death as New Keynesianism, are seen as foundational to mainstream macroeconomics. He has been referred to as the "father of macroeconomics" and is considered one of the most influential economists of the 20th century. Wikipedia
Section I · The core
The two luminaries
Two lights set the tone of the whole chart: the Sun, the identity; the Moon, the emotional world.
John Maynard Keynes's Sun, in Gemini
Your identity lives in curiosity: you are bridge, translator, a permanent question.
John Maynard Keynes's Moon, in Gemini
Your emotions ask for words: to name them, tell them, understand them in conversation.
Section II · The map
Their natal wheel
The sky on the day they were born. The outer ring is the twelve signs; the lines across the centre, the aspects between planets. Without a birth time, houses and the Ascendant aren't drawn.
Section III · The detail
Planets and aspects
The exact numbers behind the drawing. Each table expands one layer of the wheel.
John Maynard Keynes's placements
We compute the placements for the day of birth. Without the exact time the Ascendant and houses can't be fixed, but each planet's sign is reliable.
| Planet | Sign | Degree |
|---|---|---|
| Sun | Gemini | 14°26′ |
| Moon | Gemini | 17°41′ |
| Mercury | Gemini ℞ | 18°27′ |
| Venus | Taurus | 16°01′ |
| Mars | Taurus | 4°41′ |
| Jupiter | Cancer | 6°28′ |
| Saturn | Gemini | 1°32′ |
| Uranus | Virgo | 19°15′ |
| Neptune | Taurus | 19°30′ |
| Pluto | Gemini | 0°05′ |
John Maynard Keynes's aspects
Each aspect is an angle between two planets; it defines how they speak to each other. Aspects to the Moon are approximate: they depend on the exact birth time.
Elements and modalities
How their energy is split across the four elements and the three modalities.
Section IV · The signature
The signature of their sky
The whole at a glance: how the planets are spread, and the accents that set the overall tone of the chart.
Bucket
A group of planets with a single one opposite: that 'handle' planet becomes the channel of the whole chart.
Their energy concentrates in the element of Air and the Mutable modality.
Uranus is the most connected planet in their chart: 5 aspects tie it to the rest.
Three or more planets together in Taurus: a strongly marked focus of energy in that area.
Three or more planets together in Gemini: a strongly marked focus of energy in that area.
