Paul Dirac's Birth Chart

Sun in Leo · Moon in Libra

Paul Adrien Maurice Dirac was an English theoretical physicist who is considered to be one of the founders of quantum mechanics. Dirac laid the foundations for both quantum electrodynamics and quantum field theory, coining the former term. He was Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge from 1932 to 1969, and a professor of physics at Florida State University from 1970 to 1984. Dirac shared the 1933 Nobel Prize in Physics with Erwin Schrödinger "for the discovery of new productive forms of atomic theory." Wikipedia

Section I · The core

The two luminaries

Two lights set the tone of the whole chart: the Sun, the identity; the Moon, the emotional world.

Paul Dirac's Sun, in Leo

Your essence asks to shine from the heart, with authenticity: to create, express and give warmth to those you love. You are contagiously vital. You need to inhabit your own centre with pride and give your creativity an outlet.

Paul Dirac's Moon, in Libra

Your emotional peace depends on harmony around you: conflict weighs on you, beauty repairs you. You project your emotional stability onto your bonds, always seeking mutual understanding and empathy.

Section II · The map

Their natal wheel

The sky on the day they were born. The outer ring is the twelve signs; the lines across the centre, the aspects between planets. Without a birth time, houses and the Ascendant aren't drawn.

The exact numbers behind the drawing. Each table expands one layer of the wheel.

Paul Dirac's placements

We compute the placements for the day of birth. Without the exact time the Ascendant and houses can't be fixed, but each planet's sign is reliable.

Paul Dirac's aspects

Each aspect is an angle between two planets; it defines how they speak to each other. Aspects to the Moon are approximate: they depend on the exact birth time.

Section IV · The signature

The signature of their sky

The whole at a glance: how the planets are spread, and the accents that set the overall tone of the chart.

Chart shape

Seesaw

Your planets gather in two opposite groups: you live in the push and pull between them.

Dominants

Their energy concentrates in the element of Fire and the Cardinal modality.

Traits

Moon is the most connected planet in their chart: 10 aspects tie it to the rest.

Patterns

Three or more planets together in Cancer: a strongly marked focus of energy in that area.
