Georges Braque's Birth Chart
Sun in Taurus · Moon in Aries ≈
Georges Braque was a major 20th-century French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. His most notable contributions were in his alliance with Fauvism from 1905, and the role he played in the development of Cubism. Braque's work between 1908 and 1912 is closely associated with that of his colleague Pablo Picasso. Their respective Cubist works were indistinguishable for many years, yet the quiet nature of Braque was partially eclipsed by the fame and notoriety of Picasso. Wikipedia
Sun in Taurus
22°35′Your centre is steadiness: you slowly build things that last, and sensory pleasure orders you. You flourish when you build at your own pace and give tangible form to what you value.
Moon in Aries
2°19′You feel in flares: fast, honest, direct emotions that ask for an immediate response and forgive quickly. Your refuge is autonomy and your ability to heal conflict fast.

Birth time not documented
The Ascendant changes sign every two hours, and no verified birth time is recorded for Georges Braque, so this chart doesn't set it. Their planets by sign, however, remain reliable.
Section II · The map
Their natal wheel
The sky on the day they were born. The outer ring is the twelve signs; the lines across the centre, the aspects between planets. Without a birth time, houses and the Ascendant aren't drawn.
Section III · The detail
Planets and aspects
The exact numbers behind the drawing. Each table expands one layer of the wheel.
Georges Braque's placements
We compute the placements for the day of birth. Without the exact time the Ascendant and houses can't be fixed, but each planet's sign is reliable.

Beyond the planets
Three keys beyond the ten classical planets, which astrology reads as axes of the chart. All four angles need your birth time.
The wounded healer: a small icy body between Saturn and Uranus. It marks the wound that, once moved through, teaches.
Not a body but a point of the Moon's orbit. It marks the direction of your growth.
The Black Moon: a mathematical point tied to the untamed and what refuses to submit.
Georges Braque's aspects
Each aspect is an angle between two planets; it defines how they speak to each other. Aspects to the Moon are approximate: they depend on the exact birth time.
Elements and modalities
How their energy is split across the four elements and the three modalities.
Section IV · The signature
The signature of their sky
The whole at a glance: how the planets are spread, and the accents that set the overall tone of the chart.
Bowl
Your planets fill half the chart: one half full, one empty, like something you seek to complete.
Their energy concentrates in the element of Earth and the Fixed modality.
Moon is the most connected planet in their chart: 7 aspects tie it to the rest.
Three or more planets together in Taurus: a strongly marked focus of energy in that area.
Three or more planets together in Gemini: a strongly marked focus of energy in that area.
