Søren Kierkegaard's Birth Chart

Sun in Taurus · Moon in Cancer

More skies with Sun in Taurus and Moon in Cancer

Søren Aabye Kierkegaard was a Danish philosopher, Lutheran theologian, poet, social critic, and religious author who is widely considered to be the first existentialist philosopher. He wrote critical texts on organized religion, Christianity, morality, ethics, psychology, love, and the philosophy of religion, displaying a fondness for metaphor, irony, and parables. Much of his philosophical work deals with the issues around how one lives as a "single individual", highlighting the importance of authenticity, personal choice and commitment, and the duty to love. Kierkegaard prioritized concrete human reality over abstract thinking. Wikipedia

The essence · Sun

Sun in Taurus

14°33′

Your centre is steadiness: you slowly build things that last, and sensory pleasure orders you. You flourish when you build at your own pace and give tangible form to what you value.

The inner world · Moon

Moon in Cancer

21°18′

You have deep intuition and a very rich emotional world, a profound sensitivity that registers everything and needs a den to process it: your natural refuge is home, intimacy and the bonds that make you feel safe and among family.

The threshold · Ascendant

Birth time not documented

The Ascendant changes sign every two hours, and no verified birth time is recorded for Søren Kierkegaard, so this chart doesn't set it. Their planets by sign, however, remain reliable.

Section II · The map

Their natal wheel

The sky on the day they were born. The outer ring is the twelve signs; the lines across the centre, the aspects between planets. Without a birth time, houses and the Ascendant aren't drawn.

Søren Kierkegaard's placements

We compute the placements for the day of birth. Without the exact time the Ascendant and houses can't be fixed, but each planet's sign is reliable.

Beyond the planets

Three keys beyond the ten classical planets, which astrology reads as axes of the chart. All four angles need your birth time.

Chiron5°02 Pisces

The wounded healer: a small icy body between Saturn and Uranus. It marks the wound that, once moved through, teaches.

North Node15°05 Leo

Not a body but a point of the Moon's orbit. It marks the direction of your growth.

Lilith18°16 Scorpio

The Black Moon: a mathematical point tied to the untamed and what refuses to submit.

Søren Kierkegaard's aspects

Each aspect is an angle between two planets; it defines how they speak to each other. Aspects to the Moon are approximate: they depend on the exact birth time.
